MY STORY

For much of my life, I believed the answers were somewhere outside of me. In the next achievement, the next version of myself, the next opportunity, the next place. Yet through more than ten years of personal development, spiritual growth, yoga, meditation, and life experience, I’ve discovered something very different.
Whether I was navigating anxiety, moving interstate, changing careers, grieving loss, or more recently travelling through South Asia, the moments that transformed me most were never the external ones. They were the moments I paused, tuned inward, and reconnected with myself.
Again and again, I’ve found that the peace, clarity, self-trust, and love I was searching for weren’t waiting somewhere out in the world. They were waiting within me.
This 21-day journey was born from that understanding. Not because I have all the answers, but because I know what it feels like to lose yourself in the noise of life - and I know the power of returning home to yourself, one breath, one practice, and one moment at a time.

MEET YOUR GUIDE

Melanie Joy

Since beginning her yoga journey in 2016, Melanie Joy has been drawn to the deeper layers of the practice - the layers that extend far beyond the physical postures and into the relationship we have with ourselves. What first began as a way to support her mental health, gradually became a path of self-discovery, self-trust, and spiritual growth. Through yoga, meditation, and pranayama, Melanie learnt how to calm her nervous system, navigate anxiety, and create moments of presence amidst the noise of everyday life.
Over the years, this path led her to India, where she deepened her understanding of the Yogic traditions and completed her Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, often referred to as the birthplace of yoga. Since then, Melanie has continued her studies through advanced training in Meditation Instruction, Yin Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Reiki Healing, and Mindset Coaching. Yet beyond any certification, it is her personal experience of returning to these practices through life's challenges, grief, growth, and transformation that has shaped the way she teaches today.
Following the loss of her father in 2022, and throughout her travels across South Asia, Melanie found herself returning to the same practices again and again. Not because they offered all the answers, but because they helped her reconnect with herself. They became a reminder that home is not a destination we arrive at, but a relationship we cultivate within. Through this journey, it is Melanie's intention to share the practices that have supported her most, and to gently guide others back to their own inner wisdom, self-trust, and sense of home within.
